Prior to the opening of the Seren Fach Centre, the After School and Holiday Club operated from the Ponthir Village Hall during which time the company built an enviable reputation. Our aim is to provide childcare in a safe stimulating environment where they can meet friends, socialise and have fun.
After school club is open from 3.15pm until 6pm during
term time. Children are safely escorted from school to the centre. At Superstars our
emphasis is to encourage the children to participate in a wide variety
of activity based experiences, ranging from team games, creative workshops,
dance and drama classes, football coaching and table and board games. Healthy
light tea and drinks are provided for the children.
Breakfast club is open from 8.00am. Children are safely escorted to school. Breakfast is served buffet style allowing children a healthy choice of cereals, toast and fruit. There is a range of appropriate indoor activities available to ease them gently into the school day.
Holiday Club is open from 8.00am-6.00pm during school holidays apart from bank and public holidays. Children are provided with buffet breakfast, packed lunch and hot tea. Children are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of exciting programs including creative workshops, games sport, art and cookery.
Children are taken out in our own minibus for regular excursions to local parks, seaside, museums and various other places of interest.
